ZhuoYi Fan's Innovative Multifunctional Lamp Wins Silver A' Design Award

ZhuoYi Fan's Flex Light is a series of household luminaries, each consisting of a solid wood housing illuminant, neodymium ball, metal pole, and base. The lamp's novel magnetic suction structure allows the illuminant to connect with the stand and adjust in any direction. The illuminant can also be separated and attached to other surfaces, functioning as a wall lamp. This innovative design makes the lamp portable and flexible for daily use, and its structure allows for convenient packaging and logistics.

The Flex Light series includes two table lamps and one floor lamp, all embodying a simplified form that is flexible and adaptable for different usage scenarios. The materials used in these products, including solid wood, aluminum alloy, polymer battery, magnet, and LED module, have all passed domestic 3C certification standards for environmental protection. The solid wood housing is coated with Belgian wax, which helps the products retain their natural texture and delicate touch.

The design of Flex Light was inspired by the scene of birds resting on a branch, jumping, singing happily, resting quietly, and then flying away. This inspiration led to the creation of a lamp that imitates the activity process of birds, making the household luminaire more flexible and functional. The design team aimed to create a new user experience of lighting that is natural, affordable, fashionable, and user-friendly.

The Flex Light was developed by the design team of GUANGZHOU PINGITAN CRAFTS CO.LTD. The project started in December 2016 in Guangzhou and went through several stages of structural improvement, circuit adjustment, and materials testing before being launched on the TaoBao Crowdfunding Platform on December 21st, 2017.

The Flex Light has been awarded the Silver A' Design Award, which is rewarded to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation.
